PMA Standard – Periodical Inspection of Paragliders
The “PMA Standard – Periodical Inspection of Paragliders” specifies uniform instructions and criteria to assess the airworthiness of a used paraglider. It covers visual assessments, line strength, line geometry, fabric porosity, and fabric tear strength tests – all designed to ensure the airworthiness of paragliders over their lifespan.
This PMA standard is a result of compromises. It is a minimum standard, that can be overridden by manufacturers. It will be improved over time. Feedback may be provided to feedback-inspection-standard (at) p-m-a.info

PMA Standard – Connecting Elements for Paragliding
The “PMA Standard – Connecting Elements for Paragliding” defines requirements and test methods for continuous vibration and structural strength of metallic and textile fasteners. Specifically, this standard applies to textile fasteners with manual closure and metal fasteners with manual as well as self locking device.
